Keanu Reeves Set to End Band Dogstar’s Revival Tour at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl

There’s no better way to end a band revival tour than in Music City itself. Keanu Reeves’s band Dogstar just announced they will be headlining Brooklyn Bowl on December 20th, following a tour across America. Bassist Reeves, drummer Robert Mailhouse, and guitarist Bret Domrose joined forces again to reignite the popular band from the nineties. This comes with an announcement of their first album after a 21 year hiatus; Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees. The album will be available to the public on October 6th, courtesy of Dillon Street Records.
Dogstar returned to the spotlight in May at the 2023 BottleRock Napa Valley festival and headlined the Roxy Theatre of Los Angeles in July. Reeves and other band members have been teasing an album for some months, with posts in the studio surfacing on social media along with a glimpse at a private performance for the makers of the album in December of 2022.

The band’s Instagram announced a new single release, “Everything Turns Around,” on July 19. Ten days later, the band posted a list of headline tour dates in the majority of America’s major cities, with a couple stops in Japan. Their last date listed was Nashville.

The band has not toured since their breakup in 2002. Instead of returning to a past Nashville venue for their final stop, they chose to engage in the rising sensation of the young Brooklyn Bowl, which is a fairly new addition to the Nashville scene; having finished construction in 2009.
